"My 13 year old son has been active in sporting programs every summer for the last 5 years. Every year we have seen his confidence and abilities grow. However 2008 was a very tough year for our family and his father and I were unable to afford the fees to allow him to participate this year. By the middle of the summer we could already see the change. Not only had he gotten into trouble, but the kids he was associated had changed dramatically. We searched everywhere for an avenue that would allow us to put him back into sports. When we found American Home Rescue and they gave him a scholarship to play it was a god send. The sports coupled with the community service required with his scholarship has done my son good. Thank you American Home Rescue."

"Not only was I embarrassed that my parents couldn't pay for my karate I became upset with them. I felt bad about that. What a blessing it has been to get the money I needed stay involved in my karate program. After eight years of training, the thought of dropping out was heartbreaking. Now I get to keep working toward my dream and I've learned that I shouldn't have blamed my parents."

"I regularly give to charities but this was different. The results of my donation felt more real and impactful. To know that a child like mine but who wasn't as fortunate would get the chance to do something he/she loves. And to know that American Home Rescue requires community service from the kids in exchange for the money is a great idea. Oh... and thanks for the gift too."
